Approval of May 17th, 2025, HPCA Meeting Minutes: Jim Robey made a motion to approve May 17th, 2025, minutes, Vickie Galbraith seconded. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report:
We have 97 members to date, with more member dues expected. Suzanne reviewed the income and expenditures for May 17th to June 21st. Greg Arena made a motion to approve the treasures report, Jim Robie seconded, motion was carried.
Website Update: Web site is live… www.hackspoint.org .......all approved minutes have been posted. July 4th flyer is posted on the home page.
Sub Committee reports:
Social Committee Update: discussed income from yard sales, $1570.00 dollars with more online sales to come.
Lisa Koch reported that the Beach toy Box is being used and well taken care of. Also, the Free book exchange library box is also being put to use.
Upcoming Activities:
Independence Day 5/5 Everything has been coordinated. Volunteers needed for 50/50 sales.

· 10:45am Kids Parade
· 11 am Games on the Green
· 10:30 to 12:30 Basket Raffle
Garden Committee Update: no one in attendance. Discussed on next work day adding new plants and sprucing up the area around the Hacks Point Sign.
Board Walk Committee Update: boardwalk replacement is completed, look great thanks to Les Carlton and crew. Greg Arena volunteered to paint the boardwalk benches.
Swim area and Swim platform piling repairs completed. New spool needed. Caps for pilings on Boardwalk (6 to 8, various diameter) and also the swim platform need replacing.
First week of July the highway Department will be trimming around the Stop Signs.
Current Ongoing Business:
Community Parkland Maintenance
· Farmdale sink hole: GEO Tech Co. gave a proposal to do ground penetrating radar from Farmdale to the pier steps. Report will identify any pipes, and disturbed soil that could be causing the sink hole on the parkland by Farmdale. Motions to approve up to $1000 to hire GEO to investigate and verify was made by Jim Gipe, Seconded by Jim Robie. Motion carried.
· Motion made by Mike Griem to accept a bid of $2800 Dollars for 4 tree removals by Johnson Trees. Jim Robie seconded the motion. Motion carried.
· Motion to Accept Bid for $1000.00 dollars for an on demand hot water heater made by Jim Gipe, seconded by Jim Robie. Motion carried.
· Water testing summary. We have passed every water test except one. The test we failed was the day after a sever storm, by nature it is usually a 50/50 after a storm. The test following that failure we passed. Discussed volunteers to take the samples on Thursday mornings.
· . Discussion on price and purchase of new swim lines. Motion to Authorize by Jim Robie, seconded by Vickie Galbriath. Motion carried.
· Discussion took place to increase the cost of the hall rental to cover cleaning, also deep cleaning and pest control. Thanks to Vickie Galbraith for tackling the most recent cleaning.
· Discussion took place on little beach access and environmental impact.
